Micropeel

What is the Micropeel?

The Micropeel is a chemical peel that is comprised of 30% unbuffered and unneutralized glycolic acid at a low pH level. This glycolic acid peel helps to reduce the signs of photoaging such as fine lines, wrinkles, dullness and visible skin imperfections. This peel can be used on all skin types.

How is the Micropeel administered?

The micropeel is administered in two steps. The first step would be a physical exfoliation, or what is referred to as dermaplaning.  The second step is the administration of the peel. Only one layer is used on patients.

Even though the micropeel is a two-step procedure, some patients do not need both steps  and are not a candidate for the dermaplaning and peel combined, but just the peel. The best treatment plan, for each patient, will be determined when he or she comes in for a consultation with Tonya or Krystal.

How many treatments are needed?

To achieve optimal results, it is recommended to receive a series of 4-6 treatments two times a year.

How long will my appointment be for this treatment?

Allow about 30-45 minutes for a micropeel  treatment.

Who is a candidate for a Micropeel?

The micropeel is a treatment that is designed to fight signs of aging. Therefore it would benefit patients who are 18 years and older.

The best way to determine if the micropeel is the right treatment for you is to schedule a FREE consultation with Tonya or Krystal.
