Lidiya worked as a restorer of icons in the Ukraine and Moldova. Several of her icons were given to the Orthodox Church in Westover, WV. She is a member of the Monongalia Art Center in Morgantown, WV and the Pittsburgh, PA Center for the Arts.
L.D. Keiser received several awards for her paintings. In May, 2007, she won the competition of flag design for the Star City, WV, Centennial Celebration.
Keiser’s works are a compilation of her personal experiences and philosophy which explores color and form. Her original technique working with brushes developed into her own style.
L.D. Keiser has participated in many group exhibits in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. She has had ten solo art exhibitions in Morgantown, WV, including the Monongalia Art Center. Her paintings can be found in private collections in Moldova, Ukraine, Russia, Romania, Germany, and the USA.
